When she’s not hanging out at the Beech Tree, she’s charming her husband, wowing her kids, making smart & witty conversation with her friends and dazzling her office co-workers. All this on top of a green thumb, culinary skills that rival Julia Child, an inner discipline to never gain an ounce, a flair for fashion à-la-Audrey-Hepburn, and a pillar of her community.
Ok, that’s not true. When she’s not hanging out at the Beech Tree, she’s writing here, she’s being wooed by her charming husband (who blogs here), her kids wow her, she prefers listening to her friends, and she’s inspired by her co-workers. She’s good at watching plants grow, knows how to burn grilled-cheese sandwiches, thinks chocolate is a food group, and will probably be photographed one day by the Glamour Don’ts photographer. She cries at the drop of a chapeau, gets emotional when listening to music alone in her car, has made peace with dust, and tries her best to smile as much as she can, especially when she doesn’t feel like it.
But today, she feels like it
